Andrews author of the Jo Barkley books. Glad you stopped
by. The pictures on this page were taken at Mountain
Magic Ranch in the beautiful Colorado foothills where I
hung out until I moved to Minnesota in June of 2011. My
son and daughter-in-law raise Missouri Fox Trotters and
I enjoyed riding one of them. 
I grew up on a small farm in the 1930s. Horses were a big part of my life until my early twenties. I not only rode, I also drove horses on farm equipment.
My late husband and I served with Wycliffe Bible Translators for forty-five years. We went to the jungles of southern Mexico for training. Then we lived with the Northern Paiutes for ten years, studying their language and doing preliminary translation of the Scriptures.
After retirement, I began to indulge my life-long desire to write. I took a correspondence course with The Institute of Children's Literature and began attending the Colorado Christian Writers' Conference and reading books about the craft of writing.
